Thanksgiving is a time of reflection and this past year has brought abundant blessings for which I am forever grateful.
Writing this post conjures up memories of days gone by. It’s hard to believe how quickly the years have passed. It seems like yesterday my youngest was in kindergarten. He is now nearly 25 years old! While I appreciate each stage of life my children enter, I can’t help but reminisce about days gone by. These memories bring a smile to my face. As this Thanksgiving draws to a close, I hope each of you can recall both recent and long-ago memories that warm your heart and provide inspiration for what the future holds.
“Whatever you do in word or deed, do all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks through Him to God the Father” Colossians 3:17
Oh give thanks unto the Lord for He is good: For his mercy endures forever. Psalm136:1
For everything created by God (including Miss Daisy) is good, and nothing is to be rejected if it is received with thanksgiving, for it is made holy by the word of God and prayer.1 Timothy 4-4-5
Be anxious for nothing but in everything by prayer an supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. Philippians 4:6
This is the day that the Lord has made, let us rejoice and be glad in it. Psalm 118:24
