What a great way to start the weekend!
Eating a delicious brunch and running errands with my youngest is always a treat. I am so thankful my 16-year-old young man still enjoys spending time with his momma! This included a stop at one of my favorite antique stores where I scored some awesome treasures (which I am beyond excited to post about later this week).
Upon returning home, Miss Daisy and I spent some quality time together on the front porch. Isn’t she the cutest?!?
Don’t you just love fall? The weather has been so beautiful here in the Ozarks. Spending time outside is a great way to relax and renew which is exactly what I needed after a busy week at work.
Daisy May loves to sit on the front porch with me and one of her favorite past times is listening to the neighborhood kids AND watching the squirrels scurry about in the front yard. During the photo shoot today, I made another discovery. Daisy loves pumpkins! This shouldn’t have come as a surprise since this is the season for pumpkin spice and everything nice. I’ve decided she must take after me. Haha!
Her obsession with pumpkins created quite a challenge when taking pictures today. I suppose that’s the puppy in her. She certainly is ornery, but I wouldn’t want it any other way. She makes my heart happy!

I sure have enjoyed this day. It was nice to be present…in the moment…not rushed. I hope you experienced the same.
